I'm Jalina. I’m a documentary-style photographer and a naturally-minded doula offering birth photography, in-home family photography, doula support, and bereavement services to the areas surrounding Plattsburgh, New York and Burlington, Vermont.

I value life and family at all stages and provide services that help families honor their emotional, physical, and relational well-being throughout the childbearing and early motherhood years.

What I'm all about

I am a life-affirming, Bible-believing Christ-follower who knows every baby has love and purpose from the moment they are conceived. I have gratitude and awe of the Father’s design for our bodies, our families, and our relationships. That’s why I document family moments from the mundane to the momentous, honor birth and the postpartum period, and mourn with those who are mourning the earthly loss of a beloved child.

My mission is to:

support families in making confident, informed decisions about their health, births, and parenting
help families take the time to realize, nurture, and express gratitude for their core relationships.
enhance families' birth and postpartum experiences and counter the notion that babies are expendable burdens by showing the joy and fulfillment of parenthood through the positive bonds and emotions portrayed in birth photography and family photojournalism.
step into God's design for birth, life, grief, family, and healing and to help my clients do the same.
prevent the physical, emotional, and spiritual neglect that is typical of our current model of perinatal care by providing my clients with continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and miscarriage alike.
